Beginner's Iconography Workshop

Christ is in our midst!

Last year, Bishop Maxim taught a Beginner’s Iconography workshop in Jackson and we are hoping to ask if he would graciously be willing to teach this workshop at St. Andrew this summer, but wanted to gauge the interest level in our parish and the local community.

To see what the workshop would entail, you can click HERE to see the details from last year. There is what looks like an Intermediate class being offered in Jackson this Spring, but we will be asking if he would be willing to teach another Beginner’s course.

The cost was $350 for 1-week workshop, which is a FRACTION of what these courses normally cost (average $1800). You would complete the workshop with a hand written icon to take home and those average $300 - $400 from American iconographers, so it’s definitely worth the investment!
